क्षणम् चित्तं क्षणम् वित्तं क्षणम् जॆवितमावयोः l
यमस्य करुणं नास्ति धर्मस्य त्वरिता गतिः ll

MEANING -

Human mind is unstable and temporary. The money or wealth earned will be ruined. The life is temporary. Lord Yama is merciless. Therefore, one should realize this, start concentrating on earning PuNya and practice the Dharma.

MORAL -

One should realize that this life is temporary and nothing comes to our rescue while we are on death bed. Even while a thousand doctors are treating, still they cannot rescue us from dying.  What comes with us is the good or bad deeds, we have done!

ಗೋವಿಂದ ನಾರಾಯಣl
ಗೋವರ್ಧನ ಗಿರಿಯನೆತ್ತಿದ l
ಗೊವಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮ ರಕ್ಷಿಸೈll

ಮಂಚ ಬಾರದು ಮಡದಿ ಬಾರಳು l
ಕಂಚುಕನ್ನಡಿ ಬಾರವು l
ಸಂಚಿತಾರ್ಥದ ದ್ರವ್ಯ ಬಾರದು l
ಮುಂಚೆ ಮಾಡಿರೊ ಧರ್ಮವ ll

ಅರ್ಥವ್ಯಾರಿಗೆ ಪುತ್ರರ್ಯಾರಿಗೆ l
ಮಿತ್ರ ಬಾಂಧವರ್ಯಾರಿಗೆ l
ಕರ್ತೃ ಯಮನವರೆಳೆದು ಒಯ್ದಾಗ l
ಅರ್ಥಪುತ್ರರು ಕಾಯ್ವರೆ ll

ತಂದು ಬಂದರೆ ತನ್ನ ಪುರುಷನ l
ಬಂದಿರಾ ಬಳಲಿದಿರಾ ಎಂಬಳು l
ಒಂದು ದಿವಸ ತಾರದಿದ್ದರೆ l
ಹಂದಿನಾಯಂತೆ ಬೊಗಳ್ವಳು ll

ಪ್ರಾಣವಲ್ಲಭೆ ತನ್ನ ಪುರುಷನ l
ಕಾಣದೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಲಾರಳು l
ಪ್ರಾಣಹೋಗುವ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ l
ಜಾಣೆ ಕರೆದರೆ ಬಾರಳು ll

ಉಂಟು ಕಾಲಕೆ ನಂಟರಿಷ್ಟರು l
ಬಂಟರಾಗಿ ಕಾಯ್ದರು l
ಕಂಟಕ ಯಮನವರು ಎಳೆವಾಗ l
ನಂಟರಿಷ್ಟರು ಬಾರರು ll

ಒಡವೆ ಅರಸಿಗೆ ಒಡಲು ಅಗ್ನಿಗೆ l
ಮಡದಿ ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬ ಚೆಲುವಗೆ l
ಬಡಿದು ಹೊಡೆದು ಯಮನವರೆಳೆವಾಗ l
ಎಡವಿ ಬಿದ್ದಿತು ನಾಲಗೆ ll

ದಿಟ್ಟತನದಲಿ ಪಟ್ಟವಾಳುವ l
ಕೃಷ್ಣರಾಯನ ಚರಣವ l
ಮುಟ್ಟಿ ಭಜಿಸಿರೊ ಸಿರಿಪುರಂದರ l
